Further progress in the push for attention, Snow was the first JJ72 track to come with an accompanying promo video. Although the airplay for the video was limited, the track got heavy rotation on Radio 1 from Mark and Lard and of course the Evening Session. Chart success continues to elude the band, however. This single also marked the stepping up of Melody Maker's campaign with their first 3-page interview, which was nice. Also the beginning of the huge list of comparisons which the press delights in sticking next to any mention of JJ72. Unusually, one band rarely mentioned is Mogwai, surprising given that 'Fresh Water' on this single is a very close relation of a Mogwai track...
